02 February 2011An Assessee has purchased of land & paid stamp duty of Rs. 50000/- , After Purchasing he constructed the residential house on this land. My queries is that, because he has not purchase the residential house but he purchase land & constructed house on this land.can he calim the dedution u/s 80 c of Rs. 50000/- of stamp duty paid on purchase of land .

No ye can not calim expenses of stamp duty u/s 80C at the time of selling land you can add this amount into your cost.
