Whether deduction of ₹40000/- u/s 16(ia) is deductible from salary of each employment or it is aggregate ₹40000 from salary of all the employments.
If an employee receives salary from two employments, whether deduction will be ₹80000 or ₹40000.

It's deductible aggregate. 40k only applicable.
