deduction u/h casual income

can we deduct amount paid for play online rummy from amount earned from same source.( ex. winning from online rummy game =10000; amount paid =8000; " income chargeable to tax u/h casual income=2000) whether this example is correct or explain the provision regarding deduction from casual income.
