Can a individual get deduction u/s 80C, if he purchased a NSC in the name of Spouse and Children?

Yes the policy can be in the name of spouse or children for availing deduction u/s 80C.

I would like to clarify that NSC should be in your name if you want to claim deduction u/s 80C.

you can claim deduction u/s 80C if nsc is purchased in your name
