but siva, if the person has adopted the child than according to law he will be his son, n d individual will get all d benefits as allowed by d govt.

Sir,
Here the term referred" Individual" does not mean unmarried. I think u interpreting it wrong. Its not the case of married or unmarried..... Individual means the assessee who is liable to pay tax......
