Debit note issue

Dear Sirs,

We have recieved debit notes from our buyer FY-2017-18 and we have to issue credit note to our buyer can we issue credit note in 2018-19 current period?

Yes you can but, please mention the original Invoice no against which you have received debit note while preparing for return.
