if my defective stock I return to my buyer then whether I have to issue debit note? the stock has been purchased in GSt regime. how I show that in GSt return?

it is a debit note means purchase return, you can showing it in Gstr 2, now you can issue debit note to your supplier for their return file within one month

then you means the GST amount of the debit note must be deducted from input GST. right?
