Deactivation of PAN

when I am going to login for one of my clients PAN then it's shows me a message that "PAN is deactivated. kindly contact your Assessing officer for further information. "

so what should I have to do in same case??

Verify properly the details from assessee (like having duplicate PAN, any fraud etc.).

In genuine case, contact jurisdictional IT officer for its activation.

THANKS.... THERE IS NOT ANY OTHER SOLUTION AVAILABLE WITHOUT CONNECTING THE JURISDICTIONAL IT OFFICER? SIR?
