Another thing I have noted that mobile number and email address of the PAN holder is not shared by the API of NSDL to the New Income tax Portal.
Hence for many such cases, we see that "mismatch between Income tax profile and PAN profile" with two line items on PAN being shown as empty, even though the PAN data has those entries. The reason is the API of NSDL does not share customer confidential information like mobile and email address on any API.
This should have been internally sorted out by the new IT vendor developing the new tax portal. Or the income tax department who is trying to match profiles with PAN should have settled this with NSDL.
Classic example of right hand not knowing what the left hand is doing.
I dont have much hopes for 15th Sept 2021 being from the same field from 22 yrs.
