for IDT - Refer any authour book as every provision is imp. for exam puropse.
for DT - if no notes is available to you ..then u can take help of Net ..for understanding provision of short topics like
Asssement , ROI , Advance tax , Interest u/s 234 , DTAA , Transfer pricing , Tax planing , managment , evasion & avoidence
,etc..(it has been assumed that basic provision relating to Heads , Wealth Tax , TDS has already known to you).

No shortcut of success is applicable in this exam :). nd u cn go for ur gradtutn Direct Tax Book for DT + tk print out of Amendmnets of this year applicable .atleast do easy chptrs.........in salry spcly Pension, gratutity, residential status, deduction, clubbing, wealth tax (Study Mat) ......... that sort of easy topics+ Amendmnets ......... Alll d best
