Customs duty
dear experts my friend have one 42 inch television purchased 1 year before in Africa. he want to bring it to India. what is a customs duty will applicable on this television.

If he is an Indian Passport holder and returning to India after a period of not less than one year of stay abroad, he may import free of duty his personal effects and household articles upto a value of Rs. 30,000/-.
