What is the relation between Service tax, Excise Duty and Custom duty paid? Can we claim custom duty paid as a service tax credit?

CVD portion of custom duty can be taken as cenvat credit.

Apart from Counter Vailing duty ( CVD ), Addiitional Custom duty ( ACD )/ Special additional duty ( SAD ) paid by manufacturer on import of goods ( including inputs & Capital goods )are eligible for Cenvat Gredit.
