I want to open a current account in name of my partnership firm but bank is asking a certificate from a CA? Can anyone provide me that ?

Partnership deed and Pan No. of firm is quite comman, why Certificate from C.A. is required ?

well they are asking for a shop and establishment certificate but as I am running a my part time business from home, so I dont want to get the certificate for my home as it might lead to many issues. so they said get in written from a CA that u r running a business.
The bank is IDBI...

you should ask the exact wordings to be wriiten from the bank and then get that certifed from a CA

They need to get confirmed about ur business......
like you have to be authorised as a technocrat(person technically capable and choosing self employment) and you can even get registered under your respective state industrial department but
as from your earlier post i guess the second option to get authorised by a ca they've given you is better...

As ur stating its ur partnership firm ur partnership agreement is a conclusive evidence for the existence of ur business and if u have any VAT registration or service tax registration that is sufficient i believe

I do not have a VAT registration but I have a PAN card issued in name of my FIRM.
