I have a query regarding CST and I am from Tamil Nadu. Please let me know the CST rate for the goods sold from Tamil Nadu to other states in India. ie. Inter state sales.
The goods comes under the categories Mobile phone accessories and School bags.

You need not ask this simple things in the Forum, which by yourself can check in the web site of TN Sales Tax https://www.tnvat.gov.in/English/VATSCHE_ALPHA_270312.pdf
open the pdf file --- use CTRL F --- and type the product name or neareast word matching the commodity -- it will take you to the commodity immediately, pl try you will find the below referred items:
Mobile Accesories Commodity code No.371 taxable at 14.5%
School Bags Commodity Code No.818 taxable at 5%
any interstate sale will attract the same local tax payble for that commodity, only think is if sell it to registered dealer then you can sell at 2% against Form-C

sir,
if a TNGST?CST registered dealer bills cst in tamilnadu 2% applicable at the time of billing to a CST registered dealer in other states. with the condition the buyer has to supply the form c for the purchases. if the buyer fails to produce form c then the difference of 12.5% being the diff. on actual 14.5-charged 2% has to be paid by the seller even he didnot collect the same from the buyer. incase of electronic items sold to either unregisteed dealer or end user, attracts directly 14.5% atthetimeof billing itself.
