Cst rate

the current CST rate = 2%

Sir,

According to Sec 8 of the CST Act, rate of tax against C form declaration is 2% or rate applicable on those goods in the appropriate State  whichever is less. If the rate of tax under the State law is 1%, CST rate will be 1%. Similarly if the State rate is 5% or 14.5%, in the absence of C form CST rate will be 5% or 14.5% and it is 2% against C form.
