my company sale the stock other state, recived 2% againest c form released. But My dout is my company payable 2% tax in lockal tax office and submited C Form. payable of 2% tax returneble or not please clarifed the dout.
Example:
Rack sales 1,45,000-00
C.S.T @ againest c form 2,900-00
------------------------
Total 1,47,900-00
But 2900-00 is returnable or not. ?

DEar Reddy,
you have to pay 2% cst against c form. If you paid inexcess of 2% you have to adjust the same in next returns

Dear REDDY,
2% CST HAS TO BE DEPOSITED & IT IS NOT RETURNABLE AS IT IS CST & NO CENVAT IS AVAILABLE UNLESS BOUGHT & SOLD FROM THE STATE
iT IS TO BE paid to govt..however in case if any unadjusted vat receivable is pending u can adjust it for vat receivable.
CST payable can not be return and the amount paid also cannot be utilized towards input credit.
