We are manufacturer and supply the goods out of state, now the goods is return by the party after 5 months, What is the effect to the books of account for VAT?, How the material is to be lift back with what procedure?, We have also paid the CST in our state, now the CST is refundable or not. Whether we can also demand the C-Form from the party for our material?. Please reply us for these.....

you can very avail the cst refund for the goods returned by the party within 6 months. from the date of billing to return taken and accounted. for example. sale happen on 01.01.2011 and return goods made on 29.06.2011. the goods will be in transit and you will account the return in july month. in this case you cannot avail cst refund. in the books of vat turnover must be deducted.
