I am procuring material in tamil nadu and delivering the same in tamil nadu, Delivery challan states delivery addres of my customer name. Kindly advise me shall i procure on VAT 5% or cst from vendor and same from customer, As material movement is not oustide thes state.

Since the situs of sale within Tamilnadu, the seller has to charge VAT. The buyer can take input credit if he has registration under TNVAT Act otherwise he has to account total amount of invoice in the purchase account.

Local purchase and Local sales. Naturally, it will come under VAT Turnover and VAT Tax only.
