HI MR RAYADU,
YES 60% RULE APPLIES EVEN IN CS COURSE.
YOU NEED TO GET 60 MARKS IN ANY OF THE SUBJECTS TO CLAIM EXEMPTION.I SUPPOSE FOR CLAIMING THE EXEMPTION U NEED TO GET MINIMUM 25 MARKS IN OTHER SUBJECTS IN THE SAME GROUP WHERE U HAVE NOT CLEARED.
FOR E.G IF U GET 60 IN TAX THEN U MUST GET MIN 25 EACH IN ACCOUNTS AND GENERAL AND COMMERCIAL LAWS for claiming exemption in taxation
I AM NOT TOTALLY SURE ABT THIS RULE REGARDING CLAIMING EXEMPTION BUT THIS WAS WHAT SENIORS HAD EXPLAINED TO ME WHEN I WROTE MY CS INTER EXAMS

EX-if i get 61 MARKS IN ONE SUBJECT,, 59 MARKS IN THE SECOND SUBJECT,, AND 35 IN THE THIRD SUBJECT, WE CAN CLAIM EXEMPTION FOR THE FIRST TWO SUBJECTS. AS THE AVERAGE OF THE TWO SUBJECTS IS 60 MARKS.
THIS INFO I GOT FROM THE EXEMPTION CELL IN NOIDA.
WE CAN CHECK THE ABOVE INFO IN THE EXAMINATION FORM SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS PAGE SUPPLIED IN THIS JUNE 2010 FORM.
