Dear All

I've completed my CA and M.Com(Finance). Recently i have registered for CS Executive course. I've the following doubts:

1. Can i take exemption in SIP and computer training?

2. I know that coaching completion cerficate requirement is done away with. Is postal coaching compulsory as per new syllabus. If yes, can i undergo it through online portal of icsi by paying the requisite fee?

3. Can i take exemption in cost and mgt. accounts paper on the basis of M.Com (Finance).

Hello. You cannot get any exemption for SIP or Computer Completion certificate.

As you are already a CA you need not take up computer training again but you have to undergo Sify Compurt Examination online by contacting the nearest aptech centre. there is no exemption for any kind of paper on the basis of M.com.

I've registered in May 2014. So as per modified training structure, i need not do SIP and computer training. Also there is no need to submit any exemption form to the institute or attend any exam @ aptech. Am i right?

I heard that so many number of hours of coaching is mandatory. Is it so? or i can directly write my exams without undergoing any such coaching?
