It's hard to say "yes" conclusively but certainly it helps to a great extent, bcoz it shows the types of repeatedly asked questions (concepts), weightage of particular topic (s), birds view at all the syllabus ( due to mix of questions from whole syllabus), and so on..
So in short, if you use it judiciously, chances are very high to get through the exam.
