Criteria for selecting firm for article training.

Hi,

I like to ask if one is not getting selected in Big4 firms(As they are not hiring at the moment) how should one select (criteria) other firms for article training? I am from faridabad, hence delhi firms are too far to do up& down daily and then finding time for studies. I request you all to suggest alternatives and way forward such that niether studies nor training is compromised.

PS: Firms other than Big 4's generally dont provide transport facilities and niether do provide any transport allowance which makes these firms unfeasible both in respect of time consumption and economy!

Empanel in CAG for PSU's....RBI for PSU bank Audit.........MEF membership in ICAI.......Pear Review :-

Time for coaching and coaching from firm side.....good stipend.....laptop after 06 months......firm in Faridabad..........

Except Big4 and If you will prefering Job after completion of CA.

1. Search name of the Firm in that years CAG panalment.It is issued every year for Audit of Govt. Navratana CO's/PSU's.

2. RBI Approved and Allocation List for PSU Banks.(Issued every year with Catagory of CA firms all India basis).

3. MEF registration alloted by ICAI to CA firms.(Issued every year).

4. Find on CCI which are pusuing Articleship in that firm in which you interested to do the same.

don't go with stipand......you have to wait some days in this selection ....or in joining........or in opening in good firms.

Selected firm........may be near or far away your home but,it will give shining on your CV for further Joining or after your CA final.

If I am not correct...........them please give me advice.

ok bro no problem i cleared group 1 ipcc in may 11 and have given ipcc grp 2 in nov 11. i have to start my articleship , i haven't enrolled myself anywhere yet

It will be great if you disclose the source from where we can get the details for all locations as you are doing like i lives in Jalandhar City Punjab than what are the nearest available firms available to choose from.

I have given both groups of IPCC in Nov 11 Exams
