credit of gst on rent

gud morning to all...plz suggest can a registred dealer can take input credit of rent paid for his business premises which is not added by landlord in his GST registration , it will be added by him after amendmend...so should landlord pay GST on rent received also after that get amendmend in registration? because amendmend option is not working on GST Portal.
