Hi, can we issue a credit note against the tax invoice?

Yes, you can issue a credit note.
Note : A credit note must contain certain information such as the GSTIN of the supplier, the original invoice number and date, the reason for the issuance of the credit note, and the revised value of the taxable supplies.
