I submit bills to my clint for the month of jan 2020 and march 2020 in which 1.5% to be less from those bill. Clint advise to make credit note of above bills. please advise how to make credit note and how to submit the credit note to client. please note Gst already deposited.
I think, when a company makes a sales return, a debit note is included. Similarly, the supplier will give you a credit note. Does this means, your client is the supplier?
I have attached a screenshot of the credit note format. It is raised against an invoice. When you record this Credit note online, the sales tax will be reduced to that extent. All the best.
