Any party make original invoice on Vat period, now at the time GST period he make a sales return original invoice of Vat period.

My question is how can make credit note at GST period?
Can party make credit note with GST or without GST?

But my original invoice make at vat period and now I want to make credit note against original invoice.. can I make with GST ?

As per my view and advice.,

You ll return the goods with Tax Invoice as Sale...
Then both of the taxpayers can utilize his GST...

Yes u can issue credit note for the invoice issued in vat period

In your Gstr 1 u can also enter the same by tick mark toggle 'Pre-Gst' option, it will not ask u invoice no.

Or

Can issue the bill , as Mr. Raja ji suggested
