Is there required for making a debit note against credit note issued under sales return ?

after Gst , It is mendatory to reconcilled the GSt, so invoice amount to be match, if sale return then credit note to be used, for GST reconcillation

If Party asked then issue the Debit Note....
But,
Accountability is required as Debit Note in Your books...

if material reach at Customer destination , and customer refuse to accept the material, then no need to consider credit note, its a internal transaction , cancelled the invoice
