Is it possible that i can pass cpt without taking any class?????
pls tell me, this z my first step towards CA and i dnt want to do any mistake in my frst step..

If you are a commerce student..then i am sure you can pass without taking classes if you are clear with your basics.
Mercantile law will only be the new subject.study law very well as you can get good marks in this area in exam.
if in school you have studied accounts and maths..then i dont think you need coaching.
concentrate on economics and stats...u might get some trick questions.
Go through many question banks, RTP etc.
Practice many MCQ questions
ALL THE BEST!!..you will surely do well.

and @ shashidhar ,i am from delhi &i dnt want to take classes becuse the centre(laxmi nagar) is far form my home thats why i want to avoid coaching .
@ sandhya and kashvi i am confident in accounts and eco that i will do good.bt quantitative aptitude se dar lag rha hai....

For QA...there must be some chapters that you already know...I skipped calculus as i had no tym 2 nderstand it...U can try S Chand CPT buks on QA ...They help you in objective preparations...You have enough tym to master law n it cud turn out to be your strong point if you start liking it...since u r wid a maths background already...u can easily cover the "tough" parts in QA if u give it a try...
