CPT Registration

12 April 2010

I registered for CPT in Jan 2007 but did not appear for CPT till date.

Is my registration lapsed? Can I appear for CPT in june 2010 on the basis of that registration or will i have to register once again..

Please answer my query..

As your registration is inactivate now thats why, you have to reactive your registration once again, by only paying Rs 500 and not Rs 6000, as till now your registration is inactive, you are not eligible for June exam, the activation date for June 2010 exam is over , the last date for activation was 31/03/2010 for June exam, ya, now you can activate your registration for December exam, Do fast and one more thing purchase a new book for General Economics for Rs 50 from the Institute for Macro part, All the best!!

I want to know whether journal for cpt students ( at fees of Rs. 400/- ) is the same journal which the member recd or some diffrent journal.

Please let me know

students' journal is different from the CA journal . however u can download the same from institute's website for free.

Students Journal is diffrenent from the "Chartered Accountant" Journal..

Students of PCC/IPCC/Final level get it for free through post..

I think your Registration has lapsed.So,u will need to re-validate ur registrstion..

Dear Friend

Thanks for reply regarding journal for cpt students but i am still not very clear

Actually as per revised fees, i have got DD of Rs 6000/- regn fee. Further, it is also mentioned to pay Rs 400/- one year subs for journal.

While enquiring with institute, some says it is the same regulat journal " THE CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT" which the qualified ca receives and they say for student journal we have to pay separately in addition to 400/- at the time of regn. While some employees says that it is not qualified CA journal but it is student journal.

So pl any friend who is receiving journal against optional journal fee at the time of regn, can tell the exact thing.

See,the one who pays Rs. 400 with Registration fe of CPT will get the "CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT" Journal,which is TOTALLY different from the Students' journal..the one who pays Rs.400,gets the Chartered Accountant journal for one year.

As mentioned in my earlier reply,CPT students need to pay separately to get the Students' journal.PCC/IPCC/Final students get it for free.

If u r a CPT students,and want to read the Students' Journal,u can download it and read....its available for free..
