30% cpt is accepcted by icai? then pls give the link

Dear Jyothish Kumar. G

According to my knowledge there are no any notification issue by ICAI it is in transit. for CPT passing req. must 50% in aggregate.

For the december, 2012 attempt 30 % in each sub n aggregate of 50 % is the passing criteria the instruction booklet is not yet updated u can clarify dis doubt @ icai website

As per Revised CPT Prospectus (September 2012)
.
"As per amended Regulations to the Chartered Accountants Regulations 1988 vide Notification No. 1-CA(7)/145/2012 dated August 1, 2012, a CPT candidate shall be declared to have passed the test if he obtains at one sitting a minimum of 30% marks in each section and a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of all the sections, subject to the principle of negative marking". (Refer point 6.8)
