CPIN number

I have done a tax payment...last month...but not able to identify which party it..was..when I checked bank statement...its given CPIN NUMBER and refernce numbr...can we identify the party..?

CPIN number means common portal identification no. Its 14 digit number created at the time of challan created for payment , its basically Beneficiary Bank code (RBI) , so i dont think that one can identify the party name by CPIN , as it will be same for every party .

No sir. CPIN varies for each transaction. Its like a challan number and you can surely identify the party based on CPIN.

but to track payment status and to know details of challan he would to enter gstn and cpin both on gst portal
