i finished my CA in june'09 exam and i became a member only in oct 2009 with COP. What is my CPE requirements considering the fact that i will have only one calendar year that is 2010 in the 3 year rolling period specified by the institute (2008-2010). Is it enough if i complete 30 hrs in 2010.
Else do i need to have CPE only from the next 3 year rolling period starting from Calendar Year 2011.

THE CPE HOURS CONDITIONS IS TO BE FULFILLED WITHIN THE ROLLING PERIOD EACH YEAR I.E. YOU HAVE TO COMPLETE 90 CPE HOURS IN THE GLOBAL ROLLING PERIOD OF 3 YEAR ENDING ON 31.12.2010. IN WHICH YOU MUST COMPLETE AT LEAST 20 CPE HOURS EACH YEARS
ON THE OTHER WAY, THERE IS A RELAXATION IN THIS REGARD FOR THE NEW MEMBERS. THERE IS NO REQUIREMENT TO COMPLETE CPE HOURS IN THE FIRST YEAR OF MEMBERSHIP. THAT MEANS FOR YOU, YEAR 2009 IS EXEMPTED FROM THIS REQUIREMENT AND YOU HAVE TO COMPLETE ONLY 30 CPE HOURS IN THE CALENDER YEAR 2010
