Dear Sir/Madam,
I had filed the ITR online for the AY 16-17 and I have received email from Cpc Bangalore saying that income tax refund has been determined under sec 143/1. I have also received another email saying that bank account furnished my me matches with someone in database of income tax department and has requested me to send canceled originial cheque by speed post. It the same account that I had used before and I do not understand why they are reuesting it again. Also, they have asked me to send the self attested copy of the address proof basically passport or other ID reconfirming the address again.
I am out of India. Request for help on how to go about. Email id of CPC is also not available and they are saying yo contact Ayar Sampark.
