Hi,
Can anyone please let me know, whats the kind of credit we get for the CPA exam on account of being a CA. I heard that we are not required to appear for all the exams if you are a CA.
Are all of you who are appearing for CPA currently in US, as this exam can be given only within US. How hard is it compared to our CA exams?
Thanks

There is no exemption of any kind for qualified CA. you have to pass all 4 papers.
Also note that you can prepare for the exam from India also. Only to write the exams you have to travell to US.
Also, CPA is not so hard as compared to CA

Before making any plans for CPA,
do make sure that you will get visa to give the exams
as...I know some students who completed thier coaching,
scheduled thier exam but the visa got rejected..so all the money, effort comes to zero
