what do you think abt CIMA ?

CIMA is well worth it......

But hey, you talking about International CIMA na.... Or has ICFAI started offering CIMA too ???

NO , icfai dont have CIMA fourtunetly and i also joined CPA from icfai. I paid my fees so need to complete it. i dont have choice at all. Now only i came to know that Icfai- cpa have some sort of value in india . can you suggest me, If i wants to internationally recognised which course will help my future ?

CIMA

or

ACCA

Go for CIMA or the US CPA, the ICFAI one is absolutely worthless, like all courses they offer. Its unfortunate for folks who pay lot of money and enroll for such courses as they are promised a lot by ICFAi and most people just fall for it.

My advice to folks before joining any course from ICFAI is to do some research, you ll know exactly how good, rather how bad ICFAI is....

P.S:- Check any job sites and view the educational qualification  for any job and see if any of the ICFAI courses are mentioned. If the industry values the courses offered by ICFAI, i think its a fair deal.

go to www.esnips.com

download any material and any book you want free of cost.

for financial accounting specifically for CPA try Khan and Jain

Each and every course viz. CIMA, CPA or be it a CFA depends on which line you want to enter in your careeer....

Each and every course has its own importance.....

Its motive is nowhere near offering education to students.....It only wants to mint money by offering fake degrees like CPA, CFA which are nowhere near the internationally acclaimed ones like CFA, CPA... ( They sound similar because ICFAI copied this...Cheap scamsters )...... N ya, ICFAI states that CPA will be handy in areas of statutory audits and al crap.....Well, as per the Act of Parliament, CA's are supposed to that..... Many more things but I am damn sure that ICFAI is a worthless institute... Not even worth its name.....Thats why I told you to get a refund if you can.... "

Do you know which centre gives good training in CPA - Becker CPA Vs Concorde gleim CPA in bangalore...please advise......

hi friends,i was reading all the discussion reg cpa from icfai. i was planning to take admsn for this course but m confused now if i should invest in this or not. i am MCOM & have also done 2yrs PGDBA from Symbiosis, Pune. i wish to study ahead to have good professional degree in hand. i am working with an MNC as SR Acct Exe. can anyone pls advise me what such course can i take up (ofcourse distance learning). Pls Pls advise. my email id is deepspn12 @ gmail.com  thank you so much in advance.

in continuation of my earlier post. i cannot do CA -being a full time course & compulsary articleship involved. i cannot opt of USA CPA since me being married n having kid. thus being only MCOM+PGDBA or being CPA(though thru ICFAI)+MCOM+PGDBA would naturally give me more weightage. thts what i had thought. pls correct me if i am wrong. reply awaited.

Don't worry pinky, i was also tried to get back my fees but they refused. US CPA have mass value in the big companies. We cannot say that ICFAi university value in CPA is 0%. I have gone thru the materials, those are good only. Don’t be in a depressed mind study well and earn knowledge.

I suggest you to do CIMA thats really worth
