in these days of high cost of living, drought like situation in country, more lay-offs, increased unemployment, increased prices icai should be little liberal towards students of pe-2 (joined on graduation basis) and appeared for pe-2 june attempt(last chance) friends we unitely have to request the icai to be little liberal and merciful and allow us to appear in pcc nov2009 exams in case if a student fails in his/her pe-2 exams.
more over the icai has made following announcement in the past which iam pasting here.
Graduates and others who had joined PE-II directly, without
passing PE-I or foundation examination, can continue to
pursue PE-II and pass the same to join 3 years article ship
training. As and when PE-II exam is discontinued, they can
appear in and pass PCE examination to join 3 years article ship
training. This is the special concession given to them.
Alternatively, they can switch over to CPT and after passing
the same join for 3 ½ years article ship training.

From the information posted by Prakash,it appears PE II students can appear in PCC exam in November '09 term.If it really happens it"ll also be a great relief for us.But still i think it"ll be prudent to wait for Institute's announcement in this regard which we hope will be in the interest of the PE II students. But the institute's delay in announcing the notification is creating confusion and fear also among such students which is increasing with each passing day.
