could not download the TDS file sought for correction. Could reach upto getting the file with the extension .tds. After that i could not proceed please advise.

If you are facing problem in extracting .tds file use WINZIP Latest version, here is link

After successful downloading of .TDS file, you need to locate that file using validation utility and proceed further

The .tds file can be opened with your RPU 2.6 and above isued by NSDL. when u start the RPU, select the return type and then chose "correction return" . Two options will appear
1. Open a saved correction file,
2. Import Consolidated TDS File
Chose 2 and open the file in the file open dialog box.
I think this should open the file. try and let me know if u hv probs
