Could not change the pan no. in the corr. return

In the original return the PAN Is in "UNBOOKED" . got the correct PAN No. now downloaded for filing corr. retrn. Could not change from BHXTS 11111 A TO BHXPS 1111 A. ? .....!!!!!!. Please suggest.

As I have not received any suggestions I added 1 line and entered the data. Could successfuly (! ) validated.

- Initially my doubt was if I enter like this I thought that I will get error message as 'the amount exceeded the challan amount'

I did not get any error message.

Original Return:- Challan Amount 51,251

pan nO. 1 ABCDE 1234 A 350000 TDS 35000

2.ABCDF 1234 A 150000 TDS 15000

3. ABCDH 1234 A 12510 TDS 1251

iT IS FOUND THAT THE SL. No. 3 Pan no. is ABCDG 1234 A AND NOT ABCDH 1234A

aFTER DOWLOADING IT i COULD NOT CHANGE THE No. ABCDH TO ABCDG.

i DOUBTED --- WHY AND ? IS THE DOUBT.....

If I add a record as I have added now The TDS amount exceeds the Challan amount. is n't it............error message will appear.

But now I have added a record No.4 and entered with correct PAN No. and validated. I did not get any error message.............o course still surprising.

But...........

I submitted it. I have to wait for the error report.
