I have heard that Sanjay Aggarwal sir is holding Amendment classes for costing. IS that true? Are there changes in syllabus of costing?

yes might be any changes but it not for may 2014 itself it will be for Nov 2014.

What ??? Am not aware about any changes for may 14 specifically. But yes material was revised making certain changes in theory part only which were seperately given at the start of institue's module. Haan then it must be for nov 14 exams dear.

As per sanjay sir's fb status update he is taking amendment class app fr may'14 alsp.. Bt at the same point no such announcement from institute..
So these are those things which sir do not cover earlier n has named them as amendemnts..

This is confusing. Anyway i have got the latest edition of book. I will do that completely. Not bothered about such classes

This is new tactic of so called Great teacher.......first of all costing is not a taxation subject so there is no such thing called AMENDMENT.No changes have been there in the syllabus.No introduction of new topic neither deletion except Hypothesis and time series analysis.Secondly,any changes in study material are printed on the first page of the latest study material i.e. jan 2013 edition.These teachers are just updating themselves now.So dont panic...nd refer your coaching material, practice manual ans study material.i have scored exemption in nov 13 by following that.

yes there is also ammendment concepts in costing its requireecas per latest procedural followed in mkt. and more importnt is ca faculty alredy hve notified about this mattr in nation conventionl held in decembrr at delhi itself.....so there might be any such type of ammendments.
however sanjy agrwal sir taking himslf an initiative for the student from RTP nd other manuals of institute... publicly institute has not yet notified abut any changed.

I am hearing about such amendments for one year.Any changes in course or study material are explicitly defined at the beginning of the module.As regards Sanjay sir,i m not here to criticise him but I had referred his previous year amendment class notes and to my amaze all those questions were already done by me.And any change in costing pratices in industry will be introduced as changes in study material.It will be either introduction of topics or simply more matter on existing topics.Previous year,i have heard there are amendments in Transfer pricing but there was nothing but questions from Practice manual involving strategy formation.
Please find attached changes introduced in latest edition.These are very important for examination point of view.
