21 March 2010In costing Labour chapter what is the Taylor's differential piece rate system table in terms of % of efficiency and piece rate?
To my knowledge if % of efficiency is less than 100% piece rate is 83 % of Normal piece rate.
and if % of efficiency is equal or more than 100% its 125% of normal piece rate. Is this correct?

i think before standard it is 80% and above standard it is 120%

Less than 100% 80% straight piece rate or 83% of straight piece rate
100% or more 120% of straight piece rate or 125% of straight piece rate
Note:- If 80% is taken then 120 % should be followed and same for 83% and 125%..
