if profit is 25 percent on cost means 20 on selling price how ? Please explain by steps
Hi Gayathri,
Let me explain this example. Let 100 be the cost price and 25% profit is added to get Selling price of 125. So 100 + 25 = 125 right?
So now you just consider the profit 25 and Selling price of 125. What would be the percentage? 25/125 right? So that's what 20%. Make sense?
