hello frnds... i am preparing for cost a/cs (ipcc) from institute's study material.... is it sufficient???? i hav no tym left now n im very tensed regarding d subject... i've realized dat der r few topics in some chapters dat r not covered in d study material but r there in other buks.!! wat shuld be done regarding this? wat shuld be trusted more- institute's study material or d coaching buks?? Plzz Help.

for cost accounting institute material is not enough for appearing ca examinations because the topics (standard costing, marginal,budgetary) are not covered much more in study material
it is better to prepare suggested answers / compilations / padhukas
prepare the topics in this way.......

process
joint
materials
labour
batch
gone are the days when study material were just piles of books.....today institute framed books are in line with coaching books.... and if practice manual is supplimented with study material good score is sure to be achieved

pls dont loose patience what you have been doing is more than enough .just revise and you will clear with flying colors..m not saying for the sake of saying i did the same and scored 70+ .Cost accounting is the best subject in our curriculum...go strong with the basics and you will do good

Agree with Rohit. But in my opinion, Scanner is also helpful. If u have time, check it, it can play a good role in your preparation.

S.N. Maheshwari - Fundamental of Cost Accounting Of SULTAN CHAND & SONS............
I read this book and it has very good language in easy way
