I could not open the file downloaded for correction using RPU 3.6 .
The message I have been getting is "Selected file is not compatible with RPU version 3.6"
I contacted tin-nsdl.com 10 minutes back No.02027218080, ( I for got that executive's name) ,
He gave me the tdscpc.gov.in call center no. 1800103034 spoke to Jitendra -
he said that ?s relating to RPU can't be entertained by them .
!!! whome should I approach /
(the RPU 3.6 is downloaded from tin-nsdl.com)
Try RPU 3.5 Version. 3.6 Version is for correction in FY 2013-14 Q1 return.
tried...tried.....tired. (but in that case can I file correction return validated through 3.5ver)
Are you selecting zipped folder while opening the file downloaded for correction using RPU 3.6 ?
If yes, then please first extract the file and then try with extracted file...
Not unzipped file. The response over phone I got in response to the complaint I lodged through tin-nsdl is - request for the file afresh and download (as the data structure has changed).
to me the answer is not quite convincing I am doing it.

yES IT WORKED - NOPROBLEM.
tHIS MEANS the files I have placed requested on receiving corrections in July may / may not get opened ........hmpch.
