Convocation Western Region 2010 - Cheating with Students

Paulson in ICAI who takes care of the new member enrollment area his number is +91 22 39893989 (925), +91 22 39802925, and his email id is paulson @ icai.in. i have also cleared my CA in May 2008 and got my membership no. within a 3 weeks time of my application and i have successfully attended the convocation also. it is not about cheating but yes mismanagement you can say. But now since we are the members of the same community and the institute, it will not be proper to blame anyone. Rather that putting the responsibility on someone else we should see that we ourselves contribute to make better the processes. Take it easy and contact the above mentioned person, i am sure you would get a positive response.

Dayavanti you are correct, but as new qualified member....what kind of working we are expecting and what i received. you have got invitation on time and enjoyed the moment of success with all your friends and parents....same thing i want to enjoy and most of the friends from nagpur want the same. Even if i called him....he will just say one thing we did wrong and invite you for next convocation thats all....but in my opinion ICAI looks into the matter and should arrange the function again for all the members who received the late invitation call....what you say...

Though you received the invitation late but the announcement was posted on the website of the institute almost about a week or more earlier, if you dont update yourself on the events conducted by the institute then it is not institute's fault, invitation was a formal thing they have started but already the announcement was posted long ago which you could have referred on the website and made plans for your trip. 

 

doesnt matter if you have not got your membership, this was the real time to meet with the president and tell him about the mismanagement and the slow down in processes at the institute.

 

I know that you are really hurt, since this is a moment for which we probably miss our convocations at the universities also. You would be aware surely that the convocation and falicitation of the new members has been a new move by the institute which is really appreciable and gives us a real value.

 

So be updated and there is always a first time. think that may be something better will come your way which will make your parents and family proud about you.

You said well, i need to be aware about ICAI activities. In general practice most or say 90-95 % visit ICAI.org rather regional sites and all the regional functions announced on ICAI,org also. But in only this time Mr. Sagar (Website inchagre for WIRC) forgot to put on ICAI.org. As a result most of friends and me also not able to keep update about that. Mr. Sagar apologies me for that and say he will take care of this in future. Dear also same are published in WIRC journal but nor circulated to me....wirc wrong again on this point also.

Leave it this matter here. ICAI should need to make professional attitude in working with members and students is my aim. Whatever happened me is not issue for me.Anyway i have got personal invitation for April May 2010 convocation from institute today with apologies.

I have degree of CA is always proud for me.
