First of all conveyance expense is not exempt from tax it is the transport of allowance which is exempt from tax and if you are talking about transport allowance then you can claim deduction above Rs. 800 if you are Handicapped and/or produce handicapped certificate and the exemption limit will be Rs. 1600 per month. This is the way where you can claim transport allowance above Rs. 800 but not over Rs. 1600 per month
