Conversion of a company

Hi friends..

A private limited company is converted into public limited company.

So the company will be required to have new PAN

Now friends plz tell me whether the company have to apply for Correction of PAN or it should Apply for new PAN and surrender the old one.

There is no need to apply for new PAN. You have to file form for correction / changes in PAN data.

Form for correction of name has the option to change NAME of the company, hence very well you can use that form for correction.

 

Also since entity remains the same even after conversion there is no need to make afresh application.

 

Hope issue is now clear to you.
