The Conversion you told is as on August 2010 .The form is only for switching over from old to New syllabus before November 2010 Exams.Now that Announcement & that form is not applicable.

Recently ICAI had given announcement that they will give detailed announcement regarding CA final old students.

"A detailed announcement regarding administrative procedure to be followed by

students of Final (Old) course regarding formalities to be completed for switching over from

Final (Old) course to Final (New) course will be made in due course. In the meantime students

are required to note the following."

I believe Ram is correct. I have used this very form last week to move from Old to New Course. Received the modules on the spot, but of course that is subject to availability. BTW, the modules weigh a ton, so be prepared!

HI EVERYONE INSTITUTE HAD ANNOUNCE AUTOMATIC CONVERSION OF CA FINAL OLD STUDENTS W.E.F 3RD OF FEBRUARY. THIS INFORMATION HAD BEEN PUBLISHED IN THE NOTICE BOARD OF ICAI NEW DELHI OFFICE.

i too went there for conversion but first there is a announcement regarding this new procedure of automatic conversion which also posted on the notice board of icai new delhi.Or one can confirm in the delhi icai office on the phone no which is 39893990.

i don't understand y can't the information abt automatic conversion has been hosted on icai's site..

as previously the various regional offices and chapters were informing that it is mandotory to fill a conversion form ..and even they declared 31st jan as last date to submit conversion form ...
