Procedure for Verification of Answer Books of Chartered Accountants Professional Education- II/ Professional Competence/ Final Examinations

• The fee for verification of answer books is Rs. 100/- per paper subject to a maximum of Rs. 400/- for all the papers of a group/ both groups.
• The application essentially in the candidate’s own handwriting indicating Roll No., address, and paper(s) to be verified should be submitted within a month from the date of declaration of result.
• Typewritten applications are not entertained.
• There is no provision for re-valuation of papers.
• There is no standard application form.
• Request for verification will be considered only after the application in the candidate’s own handwriting in Hindi language if the medium of examination was Hindi else in English language duly signed with requisite fee by way of DD in favour of the Secretary, The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and payable at New Delhi is received within one month from the date of declaration of result.

	Discontinuance of CA Final Examination under the old syllabus (26-07-2010) Important Announcement for students of CA Final (Old) Course     BoS/Announcement/227/10     July 26, 2010   Sub: Discontinuance of CA Final Examination under the old syllabus. ------------             Students are hereby informed that the CA Final (Old) Course shall be discontinued with the holding of the November, 2010 examination.  In other words, November, 2010 examination will be the last attempt available to Final (Old) students and no further extension shall be granted under any circumstances. Final (Old) syllabus students shall have to mandatorily switch over to the Final (New) syllabus after November, 2010 examination.           Students who have passed one of the Groups in Final (Old) examination will get Group-wise exemption in the Final (New) course Examination. Is it compulsory to submit the this form?

And also with DD of Rs. 1100? I think it is too much as we can obtain module online and in most subjects,

we refer to the reference books.
