Contravention of sec173 for want of quorum
If a bm was duly called but couldn't be held becoz of want of quorum and as a consequence the min. No of 4bm in a calendar year are nt held... Will it amount to contravention of Sec. 173. Kindly answer with regard to CA final exams.

As per Section 174(4)
Unless the Articles otherwise provide, the meeting will stand automatically adjourned to the same day at the same time and place in the next week. And thus it will not amount to contavention of Section 173.
