Please explain the meaning of void contract and voidable contract in simple words.

Void contract refers to a contract which is null from the beginning itself.
Eg: All illegal contracts cannot be enforced. These are void contracts.
Voidable contract is a type of contract which can be cancelled by the party whose interest is being affected.
Eg: Contracts entered with minor
